GENDA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Nao Kataoka; hereinafter collectively referred to as “GENDA,” including its group companies) announces that we have resolved that our group company, GENDA GiGO Entertainment Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Kazuhiro Ninomiya; hereinafter “GENDA GiGO Entertainment”), will acquire 100% of the shares outstanding of SI Amusement Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Higashiomi city, Shiga; Representative Director and President: Tsuyoshi Komatsu; hereinafter “SI Amusement”), which operates an amusement arcade business and others. By this acquisition, an amusement arcade, “Amusement Park Sakura Youkaichi,” will join GiGO group.
“Amusement Park Sakura Youkaichi” has operated for many years being loved by local customers in a shopping mall, “Shopping Plaza apia,” in front of Youkaichi Station in Higashiomi city, Shiga. We can expect an increase in earnings for both SI Amusement and GENDA by providing limited-edition prizes of “GiGO PRIZE,” which is a prize brand developed by GENDA, and improving the purchasing power of amusement machines and prizes in accordance with increasing numbers of stores in addition to streamlining the store operation by sharing human resources and knowledge of DX between this community-based store and the stores operated by GENDA.
We will keep striving to create attractive arcades for all our customers that visit GENDA’s amusement arcades.
