We are pleased to announce that GENDA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Nao Kataoka; hereinafter “Company,” or collectively “GENDA” including its group companies) has today entered into an agreement regarding a business alliance (hereinafter “Business Alliance”) with Sanrio Company, Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Tomokuni Tsuji; hereinafter “Sanrio”).

Through this agreement, we will leverage the Company’s Entertainment Platform – encompassing over 14,000 locations in Japan and overseas – to bring Sanrio’s globally beloved characters to fans worldwide more effectively than ever before. Furthermore, beyond character deployment in amusement arcades and mini-locations (mainly a gaming corner with 30 or fewer game machines installed), we are exploring cross-media collaborations across the Company’s various non-amusement businesses, as well as joint planning and promotions on a global scale.
In order to realize the Aspiration of “More fun for your days,” GENDA will continue to deliver a diverse range of entertainment experiences.
