GENDA Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and Chairman of the Board: Nao Kataoka; President: Mai Shin; hereinafter “GENDA”)  is pleased to announce that GENDA GiGO Entertainment (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiro Ninomiya; hereinafter “GENDA GiGO Entertainment”), a group company of GENDA, will acquire all shares issued by PLABI CORPORATION (Headquarters: Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Kazuhiro Ninomiya ; hereinafter “PLABI”). In addition, GENDA GiGO Entertainment’s Board of Directors resolved at a meeting held today to merge PLABI into GENDA GiGO Entertainment. GENDA GiGO Entertainment will take over the operation of amusement arcade in PLABI, and will continue to strive to create stores that many customers can enjoy.
The number of GENDA GiGO Entertainment’s amusement arcade locations in Japan will increase from the existing 261 to a total of 308 with the addition of 47 locations operated by PLABI. (As of March 31, 2024.)
